MODERN UNIFORM’s brand identity is based on the concept of Minimal Utility. The identity follows a more paired back approach that is commonly used by fashion brands and design studios. Rather than employing a symbol with illustrative elements, the logo is purposely stripped back to a simple but strong wordmark. By adopting this open-ended approach, the brand leaves more space for photography to take central role in forming its aesthetic. The end-to-end graphic treatment that is applied in some of the applications is meant to symbolise the long-term goal of Modern Uniform, which is to design and produce all essential pieces of a contemporary wardrobe.
